Physical mailer with AR experience
The objective
NeoPangea wanted to show museum professionals what digital media can do for a physical space. A printed card alone could not make that point.
The mailer had to carry the idea before recipients ever reached a museum.
The experience
We developed the AR experience from NeoPangea's 3D models and illustrations. Scanning the QR code on the invitation opens it in the phone browser.
An empty museum floorplan unfolds on the table. Five rooms rise from the map and come to life with short 2D and 3D animations.
Tapping a pin opens the related NeoPangea project, and a button invites the visitor to get in touch.
The results
A simple card became a micro-museum that visitors explore in about a minute and a half, with no app to install.
It gives NeoPangea a tangible way to start conversations with museum professionals.
